Issued in parts between May 1840 and December 1845, this set is without the issues for 1842 and 1845. The entire run was re-issued in 1846 as "The Lady's Journal of Horticulture" by H.G. Bohn. An attractive production full of information on cultivating flower plants, as well as general articles, such as "Preliminary Observations on the Pleasures and Advantages of Cultivating Flowers".
