An attractive and comprehensive map of Minnesota. The 1870s and 1880s were years of great economic growth for Minnesota. With the end of the Civil War and with most of the Dakota people removed from the land settlers arrived in vast numbers, helped by the increased network of railroads, all expressed in this map. Not in Phillips. Checklist of Printed Maps of Mid West (Minnesota) 0809.
